VAMPS-Selection Mode Help

• This is a 'what you see is what you get' (wysiwyg) tree.
• A taxa will be selected if:
1. You can see the taxon name
2. The taxon name checkbox is checked.
• Clade Mode
  1. This mode aids with 2 operations:
  1. Open up whole clades with 1 click
  2. Check the lowest ranked taxa checkboxes very quickly.
  2. Clade mode checkboxes will be set only for genus level taxa IF THEY ARE VISIBLE

• Individual Mode
• Individual mode checkboxes will be set and all parents and children unset if a checkbox is checked.

• Double click on the taxon name to load in all descendants (to the genus level).

• Be careful, if you click on 'Bacteria' or 'Archaea' it might take a minute or two to load in all the taxa. Watch the red and blue signals.
